WHO ARE YOU?

Do you know who you are? Unfortunately not many people do and they try and find themselves through emulating how others live and what others do. These emulations and comparisons are drawn against people who they deem to be ‘role models’. Role models are dangerous for people who do not know who they are themselves yet because it becomes about copying rather than moulding off of.

It’s not nice when you see someone constantly trying to emulate and compare themselves when it is clear to see they do not know themselves yet. It is hard because what more advice can you give? Express yourself, focus on you, make it known who you are and be the best version of yourself that you can. If somebody constantly tries to go back to the ways of emulating and comparison, what more can you do?

The worry is that, although I know people make their own way and learn their own lessons, what if they don’t realise who they are until it is much later in life and they have lost all determination to do anything with their own unique skill set. It scares me! Even myself, I know I don’t know all I need to know about myself but I am aware that I won’t find out who I am by trying to be someone else. That’s the toughest phase complete!

I suppose this is a rant at the fact I am stuck not being able to help someone close to me and also a chance for me to reach out to others who constantly compare themselves and try and replicate what others do rather than expressing themselves first! There is only so much others can do for you and say to you. You have to be responsible, please be responsible. Maybe within your own mind you do not like the reality of who you are but that is ok. The first step is acceptance. Accepting that you are who you are and you are beautifully unique for that fact.

Express yourself.

The problem is that some people don’t want help or advice at all because they are not ready for it. Remember, you cannot help everybody. Sometimes you just have to let people be and find their own way.

YOU’RE PERFECTLY CAPABLE.
