WARRIOR OR WORRIER?

Happy Tuesday everybody, good day to you all. When I used to blog once a week on my Facebook page, before I set up my website, I wrote an interesting piece on two types of 'wa/orrier'. Today, I want to replicate that blog with an up to date twist on my mindset and attitude towards the two.

A warrior, to begin with, has the attitude to push through everything, take down whatever is in their path to get to what they want and to never be visibly effected by anything because they are as tough as they come. A worrier, however, is somebody who gets pulled down by everything and struggles with day to day constantly losing battles within their own mind and letting everything catch up with and take over them. They worry about everything and enjoy very little.

First of all I am going to ask, based off of first impressions, which one are you? Then I am going to dissect them both and dig a little deeper into the meaning of them and this blog. A warrior is not meant in the terms that you would think. In my opinion, a warrior is somebody who has to deal with so many variables every single day but gets it done. A warrior is somebody who wakes up ready to take on the day. A warrior is somebody who, even when they do not want to, gets on with their day and their life and continues to provide and survive. A warrior is not someone of 'war', but someone who gets on and does it regardless of their situations and circumstances. I know many warriors, I look up to warriors and one in particular, who will remain nameless, is my absolute idol and motivation to succeed in life.

A worrier is somebody who has lost a certain amount of control in their life and has become fearful. A worrier is somebody who gets scared and runs rather than rising to the challenge. There is no bad words to say about this kind of person but support is needed. It is not, by any means, a trait of a bad person but it is a trait of somebody who is lacking in confidence and needs supporting. On face value, it is hard to determine which kind of wa/orrier  somebody is because you can never really understand other peoples situations fully unless experiencing them yourself. So on that note, treat everyone with respect.

Like with the phrase 'man up' I feel as though the idea of the term 'warrior' is misused. People assume it means being tough and never showing any emotion but in fact, that is weak. If you are in balance between warrior and worrier, you work incredibly hard, provide and survive as well as showing a little emotion from time to time because none of us are made of stone, then good for you.

Which one are you? Remember, I am always available if anybody wants to chat or needs a little extra support. Just get in contact.

YOU'RE PERFECTLY CAPABLE.
