SOMETIMES YOU WILL FIGHT YOURSELF

Sometimes you will ask yourself why you do what you do and you need to be ready and strong enough to answer yourself with conviction. We all doubt ourselves at times and these are the moments when we determine whether or not we are going to sink or swim. Sometimes you will sink and have to come back to swim again but other times, you will continue to swim and win the subconscious battle of your demons!

This could happen with regard to getting out of bed, with regard to work, with regard to exercise and so on. It could happen at anytime for any reason and you have to constantly remind yourself why you do what you do. The biggest one is usually work. I often work with people who need a new perspective on their day to day job and that perspective is always ‘why’ and the ‘why’ is always ‘to provide’. I have mentioned it before, your perspective on things is important. It can work for you and against you! If you go to work everyday knowing you are doing it to provide for your family, your perspective on work will change for the better.

Battling with anybody is hard but batting with yourself is criminal! It makes life so difficult and it is a battle you must always win. Live your life on your conscious terms and do not fall victim to the ‘voice’ or the ‘mainstream’ because you will find it very difficult to claw back control once you have given in to what goes on in your head!

Clearing your mind is one of, if not the, best way to keep yourself in check. Grab a pen and some paper and write down how you feel, what you think and lay it all out of paper. Sometimes, when we say things and see things in front of us, we realise whether or not they hold any reality or if they are just garbage thoughts and ideas. So, grab your pen and relieve your mind of the barriers and the nonsense!

YOU’RE PERFECTLY CAPABLE.
