THE MIND IS THE LIMIT

I do not agree with the saying ‘the sky is the limit’ because all of your limitations come from with your own mind. The mind is indeed the limit and the mind, your mind, is under your control and you can take it any which way you please. If you see something you want, if you think about how it will feel if you have it, if you commit yourself to getting to where you need to be to have what it is you want, you will give yourself every opportunity to get it.

People will always be there to tell you that you cannot which, do not forget, is evidence of their limitations, not yours. People will not always be there to tell you that you can but that does not matter. 1,000 people could stand over you and tell you that you can but if you, if your single self does not believe that you can, you never will. Your mind is your limit and it is what is stopping you from getting to where you want to be.

There is a barrier in your way? A mental block? Subconsciously, you put it there so you can take it down again. All you have to do is believe. If you believe and continue to believe then action is bound to follow. Nobody on this planet is going to do for you what you must do for yourself. People along the way will help you and guide you but you have to take the steps to follow them. You must take responsibility for you.

Your mind is the first to excite you and the first to slow you down. You must find the balance and control the pace. You must be there, present, every step of the way and ensure that you do everything you can to keep your mind right, passionate and determined. You, you, you.

You know it is true. You may blame others for your set backs and short comings but the truth is, most of, if not all, of your decisions are made in your own mind and that is where your limits lie. Nobody is limiting me to anything and if I ever feel that way I need to wake up and realise that the only person who can really limit my potential is me. People can put a cover over me and try and stop me from seeing more but I have the power to come out from under that cover and go for it.

The mind is the limit and you control your mind so, where do you want to go?
